Cueva Ventana Adventure Plus – Window Cave Tour

Get to the cave via a low hiking no smoking trail in which knowledgeable personnel provide the explanation of the environment inside and around the cave. Flora, Fauna and specific specimens will be seen. Also, Indian culture cave presence will be explained by Historic-cultural and Environmental interpreters.

After Ventana Cave the tour continues to downtown Arecibo in order to get a flavor of the town and its surroundings (Plaza, Catholic Church, City Hall, Theater and murals painted by local artists.

Minors need to be accompanied. Park Entrance age required is 4 years old. Language Spanish and/or English Meeting Point: Plaza Manuel Corchado – Isabela (fountain area)

Duration: 8 hours Continue traveling to visit Arecibo Lighthouse, Cueva del Indio (Indian Cave) and petroglyphs from the “Taino” Indians. Then continue to take a photo at the Christopher Columbus Statue.

Lunch stop will be at a local beach front restaurant (drinks and food are not part of the tour package).

On the way back to Isabela, will visit the towns of Hatillo and Camuy. Then will stop at Guajataca Observation Deck, at the Isabela “Cara del Indio” monument and will finish at Isabela Plaza.

Ticket entrance, transportation, water and some snacks and included. Tour in cave is 1 hour Helmet and hard cap are provided by park staff.
